Forest’s memory (Musings)

As Mik gazes back into the heart of the forest, he is caught in the quiet tension between belonging and becoming. The trees that once whispered his name, the paths he carved with curious steps, and the shadows that stretched with his laughter seem alive with memory. Yet, he wonders: does the forest hold its own stories, or does it simply reflect those who walk within it? The question is as much about him as it is about the world—can we ever truly leave the places that shape us, or do they linger within, becoming part of who we are, even as we move forward? Perhaps, like the forest, we leave traces of ourselves behind, remembered in the way the sunlight filters through the branches, waiting for the next traveler to notice.
